Mission Statement
LinkUp Academy’s purpose is to engage the community, improve a child’s self esteem, and also give its students a freedom of expression utilizing the performing arts.
LinkUp Academy Summer Camp Policies and Procedures
Program fees
A $50.00 dollar registration fee is due at the time of enrollment. A non-refundable / non-transferable $50.00 deposit is required – for each week you select – to hold your child’s space in our program. Payment in full is required two weeks prior to the start of each week selected. The price per week for summer camp is $175.00 and for after school is $100.00 plus the fee additional electives (TBA).You can make your payment at WWW.Linkupacademy.com
Cancellation
Registration is on a first-come, first-serve, and week-by-week, basis. While debating which weeks to enroll your child, we ask that you consider very carefully your child’s ability to attend the desired weeks before registering him / her. In the event you still wish to cancel any portion of the program after registration, you must submit your request in writing at least two weeks in advance of the week(s) in question, or you will be held responsible for payment in full of the week(s) in question. No credit whatsoever will be granted for absences (vacation / illness) or non-attendance of summer camp. In addition, due to the pre-planning of staff we may not be able to accommodate requests to switch.
Dress Code A) For your child’s protection, athletic shoes or dance shoes should be worn.B) During the school year, if your child gets sunburned easily, you will need to send sunscreen and instruct your child how to use it. Meals and Snacks Sign in and Out Summer Camp hours are 9am-3pm After school hours are 230pm-8pm Staff cannot stay after class closing time. Children must be picked up at the closing time. One minute past the closing time is considered late. The time on the clock in the classroom is the official time. It is always recommended that you phone the program to let the staff and your child know what is happening, this will reduce the stress and worry for everyone! You will receive a late slip after the first minute you are late. Every min is a 1$ fee to be paid when you drop your child off the next morning or your child will not be able to return. If your late arrival occurs on a Friday and your child is not returning the following week please pay when you arrive to retrieve your child. PayPal and Zelle payments accepted.

Visitors If visitors/guardians wish to visit, they must stop by the front upon arrival and receive a visitor tag. A valid ID will be required to get a visitor tag to ensure your child’s safety. Due to the nature of our program, we will only allow 10 min visits during rehearsal time. Please call ahead of time, so that we can be expecting you and be available. Any unknown adult not wearing a visitor tag may be identified as in intruder.
Medication Management If your child has medication that must be en during the camp day, we must have a doctors’ note with your child’s name, the name of the medication, the dosage, and the time it is to be administered. Medication must be in the original packaging and should be turned in to the Director with your child’s name and the name of the medication clearly printed on the container. We understand that some medications, such as asthma inhalers or Epi-pens, must be kept readily available to the camper. Please make a note ot this when you turn in the medication, and it will be kept with your child’s senior counselor at all times. Please indicate all allergies and ongoing health issues during registration.
Emergency Transportation: In the event of a medical emergency, your child may be transported to the nearest hospital in a private vehicle, belonging to a camp staff member. In more critical emergencies, an ambulance may be called to transport your child. In this case, your child will be transported to the nearest hospital. We will notify you immediately. If we ate unable to reach you, we will notify your emergency contact person. Illness/Injury Notification In the event of Illness, we will contact you at the numbers you provide. In the event of an injury, we will provide first aid at camp. If the injury consists of anything other than minor scrapes, cuts, or bruises, we will contact you for further instruction. In the severe emergency, we will follow the above policy. For severe injuries we will complete an incident form for you to review and sign.
Exclusion of Sick and Contagious Children: LinkUP Academy complies with state law that requires children to have an oral temperature of one hundred and one (101) degrees or higher, along with any other possibly contagious symptoms (sore throat, vomiting, rash, etc.) to be sent home. Please do not send your children to camp if you suspect he/she has any contagious illness. We will inform parents of any contagious illnesses or cases of head lice.
